YT Etiquette

Pending a final nod by the members of the Bureau, the Spanish Delegate to the FAI Skydiving Commission (ISC) will address the General Meeting in Moscow, RUS, to present Indoor Skydiving 2020 | First Global Summit (ISG) with a PowerPoint presentation. Steering clear of any and all politics, Alberto's focus will be on the webcasts covering the ISGS Sessions.

The videos that are available on DOT STREAM, the ISGS video platform, are not actually hosted there. They are merely embedded, with the original files uploaded to the ISGS YouTube channel.

TheVision, the ISGS presence on YouTube needs subscribers to position itself as a channel of relevance to the indoor skydiving community and the world at large. Wherever you end up watching the LIVE webcasts from Castelló d'Empúries, make it a point to subscribe to the channel. The more, the merrier!

If YouTube viewers want to take an active part in the summit and interact with the panelists through the chat function, they will have to be an entity with a Google/YouTube account. It is easily set up. After that it is all a matter of discipline and etiquette.

Roland Hilfiker, one of the ISGS organizers, has a fair amount of experience with YouTube LIVE and connected chats. Working as Communications Director for the World DanceSport Federation for many years, he oversaw the production and the interactivity of countless webcasts that had audiences of 30,000 and more viewers.
