Exactly one week after Indoor Skydiving 2020 | Global Summit (ISGS) concluded at the Santa Clara Convent in Castelló d'Empúries on the evening of 3 February, the organizers are ready to draw their preliminary conclusions. They are able to do so after having reviewed the sometimes lengthy discussions once more.
Even without the climactic moment of the 100+ ISGS delegates still present at that time approving a very general vision statement, the summit must be considered a total success from virtually every point of view. If there is a point to be excepted, it is the one that has to do with the finances. That we ran up a loss much higher than we had anticipated can easily be traced to its origins. If someone should feel compelled to make amends, or simply to say "thanks" for the initiative, there is a crowdfunding campaign that can help with that.
But let us keep it upbeat and lighthearted as we did all along.
