In July, after operations had started back up at most of their current locations, iFLY announced the launch of a new line of wind tunnels. Modular, movable and with a fast build and low costs, they are designed to meet the needs of customers who are seeking an efficient yet smaller indoor skydiving facility with a considerably lower investment. Ideal for the post-COVID-19 world?
iFLY Tunnel Systems, the former SkyVentures, is in the process of launching the new line made up of two models: GEN M and GEN X. Both distinguish themselves through their modularity as well as fast build and low cost. “The newly launched models are a game-changer for the industry,” iFLY's Simon Ward said at the time. “Operators interested in owning a wind tunnel have options at unprecedented low costs without sacrificing the quality of the flight experience our customers enjoy."
In an interview with THE VISION's Roland Hilfiker, Simon expands on that further.
The full-length interview covering topics such as the recent sale restructure of iFLY, the new line of wind tunnels and much, much more will be available from this website and through the THE VISION newsletter (sign up below) from early October.
