A full report on Indoor Skydiving 2020 | First Global Summit (ISGS 2020) held between 1 and 4 February at the Santa Clara cultural center in Castelló d’Empúries, Catalonia, Spain, was finally submitted to the institutional and commercial partners during the first week of July. In English and in Catalan, the report included extensive information on every aspect of the event.
From the financial impact that organizing and delivering the summit had on the treasuries of the two founding partners – Support Air International and Skydive Empuriabrava – to the consensus reached between 40 panelists and as many as 150 summiteers on three key points, it was all included. 28 pages! Links to download clippings from the coverage appearing in national and international press plus all the ISGS 2020 publications and videos were part of the comprehensive documentation. Here it is for your perusal or download.
Here is what some of our partners had to say after going through the report.
“This summit has made all of us wiser. That is something of utmost importance for an activity such as indoor skydiving, one that is rapidly growing in popularity everywhere. But at the same time, it was just the first step. More will need to be taken. Castelló d’Empúries is ready to take them with you.”
Salvi Güell, Mayor of Castello d'Empúries
"I congratulate you on the organization of the inaugural summit – one of the few congresses to actually take place in 2020. It is a very difficult year, but together we will pull through. Let’s hope that we find ourselves soon in a situation in which we can again organize in-person events. We already know that we will need to adapt them to new requirements, and that is what we are working on.
I want to thank you for the dedication and the work you have put in as our Ambassador during these challenging times."
Sònia Serracarbassa, Director of the Catalunya Convention Bureau
Many thanks and sincerest congratulations for organizing this inaugural summit on indoor skydiving.
Gerard Franch, Marketing Director of the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board
