Know Where You Go

We are down to four weeks until the start of Indoor Skydiving 2020 | First Global Summit (ISGS). With over 110 summiteers registered as of today, we continue to have capacity for a few more. Th remaining places are assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you're still making up your mind whether to attend ISGS, let us help you with our four-part series of articles "Know Where You Go." The first one informs on Empuriabrava.

Empuriabrava | Marina in the Land of the Sky

Empuriabrava is the "Marina in the Land of the Sky" and should be the one place almost everybody traveling to the summit knows already. The expansive marina with some 25 km of canals and 5,000 moorings is obviously a choice destination for skippers on boats and vessels of all sizes.

Others who visit Empuriabrava and its surroundings on a very regular basis are skydivers, who have made a cumulative total of more than 2.5 million jumps at the local skydiving center over the past three decades, and the migratory birds spending more and more of their time in the adjacent Aiguamolls natural park. Birds of a feather flock together.

The rest are the "generic" tourists – in excess of 100,000 every single week during the summer – who come for the sun, the sea and all the other motives driving traffic from north to south once every year.

Remember, registration for ISGS is mandatory and can be done right here! Do you need help with your hotel accommodations in Empuriabrava or Castelló d'Empúries? Just complete the online form and let us assist you with the arrangements.
