Indoor, Man-Made And Artificial
A number of outdoor sports have moved indoors and/or substituted the challenges imposed by nature with the man-made and the artificial. Representatives of the governing bodies for climbing and surfing are on the panel looking back at evolutionary processes extending over decades and concluding only very recently – with both making it onto the program of the Tokyo 2020 and, most likely, the Paris 2024 Olympics. Moderator: Roland Hilfiker

Sport Matters
Sport matters! Session II looks at different options to make a challenging sport out of a first-flight experience. Is it just a once-in-your-life experience or can it develop into a sporting passion and lifestyle? Moderator: Anne Maxwell
11:45 – 12:45 Session III
Sport Matters More
Sport matters more! Session III looks at the training and rating of the instructors as well as the people who are taught by them. A prerequisite for any sport. And something that needs to be taken seriously, all the more so if there is a considerable risk factor involved.
